activated by a laser light which penetrates the teeth enamel. This
causes the enamel to reflect more light. Laser teeth whitening is one
of the expensive teeth whitening procedures in tooth whitening
dentistry. It’s a one office visit procedure that lasts
approximately one hour. The effect is noticeable immediately.
Another tooth whitening dentistry method is a
whitening technique using home whitening kit. Home whitening kit is a
treatment that can be used to teeth whitening as a treatment by itself.
It can also be used to give increased results after a power whitening
procedure. This procedure is a lot cheaper than other tooth
whitening dentistry treatment since it’s more of a
do-it-yourself procedure. Home whitening kit can be in a form of
whitening toothpastes and at-home teeth whitening products. Teeth
whitening toothpastes can remove stains and crud from the teeth so that
the underlying whiteness of the tooth shines. Teeth whitening
toothpastes contain a special combination of abrasives and detergents
that give them an extra stain-removal boost. With the help of
high-tech services, the treatment can be reduced to a couple of hours
instead of days.
There are also the porcelain laminate veneers. Porcelain laminate
veneers are shell-like facings that can be bonded onto stained teeth.
These are used to whiten as well as reshape and lengthen teeth. This tooth whitening dentistry method involves a bonding
method that can usually be done in one office visit.
