This is the first time that I’ll post a topic here and probably you could help me with the question I have in mind for some time now. How will I know exactly if I have a gum infection? I noticed lately that my gums are swollen. Is this a sign of gum infection?

Yes, that is a sign already. i advise that you see your dentist so he can tell you what to do and what is the proper way to care for your gums. If you just ignore that, it can turn to worse.
